Forschungsschwerpunkte

Research interests

Phylogenetic Systematics and Phylogeography, Evolutionary Biology, Evolution of morphological characters (especially visual signals) using the Comparative Method, GIS-based biodiversity assessments, Conservation Geography

Ph.D project (2005-2008):
Integrating molecular phylogenetic, spatial, ecological and climatic information to infer i) evolutionary processes shaping the distribution patterns and ii) the geographical modes of speciation in Malagasy amphibians

Currently (since 2009) working as postdoctoral researcher in Jonathan Losos' lab at Harvard (inferring lineage diversification in Anolis lizards)
